Allow Irina Shayk to Inspire Your Next Denim
Denim-on-denim dressing may no longer be as controversial as it has been in years past, but that doesn't mean it's any easier to pull off the trend now. Irina Shayk, however, made the all-denim style look completely effortlessly in her latest off-duty look.
Spotted out and about in New York City yesterday, the model reinvigorated the denim-on-denim trend by wearing a dark blue denim button-down jacket with black leather sleeves from Givenchy. The top came with matching low-rise skinny jeans (another once-abhorred fashion trend that may now be making a comeback, if Shayk's wardrobe is any indication).
To finish off the look, she opted for black heeled Isabel Marant booties, a spacious black backpack, black shades, and a dramatically large pair of silver hoop earrings.
For Harper's Bazaar's May cover story, Shayk opened up about her perception of beauty and fashion—and how it's changed since she welcomed her daughter, Lea de Seine, with ex Bradley Cooper.
"We’re teaching our daughter that the most important thing is to be kind to people. Every time we send her to school, we’re like, 'Just remember kindness and love.' So I think that's what true beauty is," she said. "It's not about putting on masks, putting on makeup, brushing your hair, putting on nice clothes. With TikTok and Instagram and social media, my daughter is growing up in a different environment than I grew up in, so sometimes it kind of scares me. But most important is teaching our daughter bigger values than being pretty on the outside."
